La Finca del Sur, (meaning Farm of the South) is an intergenerational cross-cultural collective of farmers serving the South Bronx Community.  Our mission is to engage the community by bringing healthy, organic food, farming education and public programming through fun activities to our South Bronx residents. 

 We welcome you to book a tour, join us on volunteer workdays, enjoy community events, or join us in our efforts to create a healthier, happier South Bronx!  We believe that farming creates a groundswell of positive effects on our community and facilitates discussion and action on social, economic and wellness issues in The Bronx.

We’re working hard to provide easeful accessibility for community members of all abilities. Presently, the S.A.G.E. section of the farm offers wide pathways accessible via wheelchair or walker. S.A.G.E. stands for  Super Abilities Gardeners Enclave to ensure that persons of all abilities have access to experience the wonders of urban farming at La Finca del Sur. Our goal is for our entire farm to be accessible to all, as soon as our resources permit, as our community’s needs are our utmost priority.
